Bob Hagemann is fascinated with all things British. That includes Gin and Corgi dogs — the breed of choice for the Queen Mum herself. In 2017 he founded Corgi Spirits in Jersey City, New Jersey with support from his parents Bob and Nancy. The logo is a Corgi wearing a crown. Things are going well and they have been named New Jersey Distillery of the Year two years running. They currently have a core range of eight product — all potato-based — including six Gins, a Vodka, and a Whiskey.

Corgi Spirits is fond of making seasonally-inspired releases. Corgi Garden Party Gin was designed to deliver the experience of sipping summer cocktails in a garden setting. So you will find the juniper berries exactly where you want them on the flavor profile. But there will also be definitive notes of local cucumber, celery seed, thyme, and orange and lemon zests to bring bright freshness. And they want you to actually taste the gin in you tonic, so it’s bottled at 43% ABV.
