As described in the book, it is indeed complex. I like the initial taste, very subtle hints of sweat notes. Though it's turns a little spicy, with a slight burn. Yes good, though I likely wouldn't buy if given a choice. I'm not much for rye. However, compared to other ryes this one is good.

Best so far and I'm on day 15 as I write this

Had to come back and review this one...really an interesting and layered tasting experience. Sweet for a rye IMO and not too much burn given the ABV. Love the mouthfeel/texture; has an undeniable butterscotch/custard thing going on. I will very likely buy a full size bottle.
